IT Support Services

IT Support Services (ITSS) provides a full scope of desktop management support for CIT and the NIH community. 
   
IT Support Services can also provide comprehensive information technology support services for those institutes and centers that need to supplement their information technology teams.

Engineering

Services include project management, configuration management, software deployment, patch management, image development, data call support, and group policy management.

Security

ITSS addresses security vulnerabilities identified by the Incident Response Team, provides on-site support for Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) audits, and deploys software patches to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

Acquisition Support

ITSS provides full acquisition management and support through a NITAAC-approved vendor. Acquisition includes laptops, desktops, tablets, monitors, printers, and mobile devices. 

IC Support

For ICs that need to supplement their IT teams, ITSS can provide backend project management and client technology solutions, as well as dedicated on-site deskside support personnel to provide face-to-face client to technician support.

Training

ITSS manages the CIT Technology Training Program which provides users at NIH with courses and seminars that enable them to make effective use of IT resources. Most classes are free of charge.
