CIT has recieved reports of hoax e-mail messages that appear to have been sent the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). These e-mail messages reportedly contain computer viruses. Please be aware that the FBI does not send unsolicited e-mail messages.
The body of the message is reported to include:
Internet use has been monitored by the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center. You have accessed illegal Web sites.
The message also instructs the recipient to respond to a questionaire, sent as an attachment.
Do not open unexpected attachments!
